All young adults deserve
the chance to
Achieve Independence
Young adults transitioning out of the foster care system face significantly higher risks compared to their peers. They are more likely to drop out of high school, not complete higher education or trade school, struggle with substance addiction, experience unemployment, incarceration, and homelessness, and become young parents, perpetuating the cycle of foster care.
We are dedicated to supporting foster youth aged 14 and older, as well as those who have aged out of the system by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to become independent, contributing members of society.
Purpose/Mission
OAI has desire to equip the young adults in foster care with the knowledge and skills needed to become independent assets to our society.
